In connection with the wonderful bird film, The Messenger (Sun 18th, 17:00 Totnes Civic Hall), Tony Whitehead is offering a walk ’round Dartington estate to discover some of the autumn birdlife of this special place.
Tony has a long connection with the estate and has for the past five years worked with Soundart Radio to run the popular Soundcamp, an annual celebration of Spring birdsong on the site.
He writes: “Birds are our constant companions; truly wild creatures that are rarely far from us, that share our days. And for those with eyes to see and ears to hear they reflect the worlds we create, and give us warning for the future”. Tony will also be facilitating the Q & A’s after The Messenger.
