Jane, a beautifully filmed American biographical documentary about the primatologist, Jane Goodall, shows how a young, untrained woman challenged the male dominated scientific consensus of her time with her chimpanzee research and revolutionised people’s understanding of the natural world.
This film is being shown as a fundraiser for the Transition Town Totnes Film Festival as it reflects the festival’s themes of climate change, creative solutions, our relationship with the other-than-human world and women’s empowerment.
